10th Anniversary Concert and Celebration at Guarneri Hall
We invite you to join us in Guarneri Hall for our 2024-25 season opener, The 10th Anniversary Concert and Celebration, featuring works from North America on Friday, September 6 at 6:30pm. The concert will feature music by Kenji Bunch, Valerie Coleman, Amos Gillespie, Adolphus Hailstork, Jesse Montgomery, and Alex Wurman. A reception will follow the performance.

The programmatic theme for the upcoming season is “One Small World,” which is both a nod to the Disneyland attraction and a unifying message of peace. This 10th Anniversary season will feature seven concerts highlighting composers from each of the seven continents. Concerts will take place in neighborhoods throughout Chicago beginning in September and continuing through June 2025. Programs will include works by composers from Japan and South Korea, Ukraine, South America, South Africa, Antarctica, North America, and Australia.
Lakeshore Rush is partnering with UNICEF this season to help raise awareness of the work UNICEF does to ensure every child everywhere in the world is healthy, educated, protected, and respected.
